Gossip Pig

Remember how I said there was a surprise coming soon? Apparently these little piggies have heard about it because they're running to tell all their friends. I can't shut them up about it!
They're going to ruin the surprise! "OINK! Oink oinkoinkoink Oink!" Dang it! They spilled the beans. What's that? Oh! Great, you don't speak pig latin. Whew. Then the surprise isn't ruined. Coming Soon!

safer to keep the cuties in and not running out, they may get "OINK" flu and ruin the surprise!!

Just read your commment on PW's site.

The only advice I can offer is to relax and enjoy your baby. If you're delivering the usual way, your body will know what to do.

If you're going cesarean (as I did 3X), my view is that the epidural was ickiest, and I was the most hideously uncomfortable the first time I got out of bed. Things got easier from there. The nurses will help you time your meds for things like showering and that first post-catheter trip to the potty.

Boobs vs. bottles are your decision entirely. Don't let anyone bully you on the subject.

The nurses are your best friends -- at least mine were. I would've gone insane without them.

And, finally, if you're tired, SAY SO. Pushing yourself for the sake of visitors (at home or in hospital) is foolish and you'll suffer for it.

If your best friend offers to vacuum your house, take her up on it!

Hey, I saw your question on Pioneer Woman, and I just wanted to say: I had twins at home. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Yes, sensations I'd never felt before--but amazing. I took HypnoBirthing classes and they helped A LOT. I hope you won't let the flippant answers and comments keep you afraid. You're about to experience a miracle. My mom is a HB instructor in UT, but knows a lot of instructors around the country. I'm sure she'd refer you if you're interested. her site is http://www.graciousrain.com then click on hypnobirthing.

Again--it was amazing. Best of luck to you. Mwa! April
